Vidados and Hazel’s story

Vidados and Hazel’s story | By Elsa Maishman

Vidados is a global marketplace, with the aim to provide extraordinary activity holidays for extraordinary people. The organization does this by connecting would-be travelers with hosts in their destination country, facilitating the perfect tailor-made holiday experience.

Hazel was one such would-be traveller. She was looking for a holiday escape somewhere warm, where she could be comfortable as a solo traveller – able to relax, but also take part in fun activities.

Vidados houses a huge variety of travel opportunities in one place, making it easy for travellers to find the experience which suits them best, to learn more about the opportunities, and to book. It was through Vidados that Hazel found Escuela Entrelenguas, and she joined us for a Cooking and Culture Trip in August 2016.

Hazel stayed with a host family in Ronda whom she found “warm and welcoming”. She was kept busy with Spanish classes, Spanish home cooking and gardening – learning about Spanish fruit and vegetables and even picking some to use in her cooking exploits! She said: “I had an amazing time and have the best memories of entrelenguas, all the people I met and Ronda.”

Entrelenguas helps travellers to find their perfect holiday experience in Spain, and in doing so works to empower and support local projects in Ronda, Malaga. As a result, entrelenguas benefits everyone!
