SPANISH COURSES

 

I have filled in and sent off my form, does this mean that my place is reserved on the language course?

No, you must send your completed form along with a deposit for 20% of the total cost of the course. Your place on the course will not be reserved until you have completed the form AND paid the deposit.

 

Is the deposit refundable?

The deposit will not be refunded if cancellation is the result of the student. However, in case of cancellation by Entrelenguas, you will receive a 100% refund.

 

Is cancellation insurance included in the price of the courses?

Course prices do NOT include cancellation insurance. If you are interested in purchasing this insurance, please contact jcriado@entrelengaus.es for further assistance.

 

How do I know what my language level is?

In order to assess the language level of students, we ask that you do a test so we can assign you to the group which correlates to your level. Depending on the level that you have and the availability of other students, it may be possible to form a group.

 

What happens if I sign up to an intensive course but it is not available due to a shortage of students?

If we cannot form a group due to a shortage of students, we can provide a one-to-one course for the reduced price of €160. The normal full price is €220.

 

What do I do if I want to change course/level?

If you want to change course/level, you will need to talk to Mar Rodriguez. Changes are not guaranteed and are dependent on the availability of programmes and schedules within the requested language level.

 

What happens if I have classes that fall on a public holiday?

Our centre will be closed on public holidays. Only one-to-one lessons which fall on a public holiday will be rearranged between the student and teacher. Generally, intensive courses will not take place on a week that includes a public holiday. However, if this is the case, the intensive course would have a reduced price.

 

What if I cannot make the class on short-notice (illness, bad weather, etc.?)

If you are part of a group, classes will not be reimbursed or rescheduled. If you cannot come to your one-to-one class due to unforeseen circumstances, you must inform the teacher or Entrelenguas, at least 24 hours in advance, that you will not be able to attend your class. If there is no prior notification of your absence, the lesson will be recorded as ‘taught’ in our records. entrelenguas

 

What is included in the price of the course?

This depends on the course. Please check our website and carefully read the contents of the desired course.

 

Are materials included?

The materials used will be textbooks and/or worksheets depending on the class. If you are new to the school, the registration fee includes the materials for your first course. However, if you are already a student, you can buy the textbook yourself or through the school.

 

Are there any extra fees that I need to pay?

Yes. There is a one off €20 registration fee that includes all the materials you will need. Only new students need to pay the registration fee so, if you return in the future, there is no need to pay the fee twice! Please check out our website to see whether the programme you are interested in includes the registration fee.

 

How can I pay?

You can pay for your course via Paypal or Bank transfer. Please contact our colleague Javier Criado at jcriado@entrelenguas.es for further details. Please note, we do NOT accept payment via credit card.

 

When should I pay for my course?

Extensive courses must be paid within the first five days of each month. The other courses have to be paid within 10 days of the start of the course.

 

What do you do with all my personal information?

All students information will be confidentially kept on file for managerial purposes as well as to keep you informed about courses trips and activities that we hold at Entrelenguas.

 

Do you give classes outside the classroom?

Yes! For us, cultural immersion is just as important as the language and so if you want to have your one-to-one lessons in museums, the city or even while hiking in the countryside… let’s do it!

 

 

RONDA

 

How do I get to Ronda?

Malaga airport (AGP) is the closest airport to Ronda and we recommend flying into this city, as it is easier to connect to Ronda. If you want to use public transportation, you can catch the line A bus from the airport which will take you straight to the city centre and bus/train station, or you can get a taxi to either station (they're adjacent to each other). Once you’re in Malaga, the most common coach to get to Ronda is with Los Amarillos. They offer the Malaga-Ronda journey for around €10 per person and it takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.The timetable can be found online or at the coach station. You don't have to buy the ticket in advance, as it's easier to purchase it at the station. Another possibility is to take the train from Malaga María-Zambrano to Ronda. This takes just under 2 hours. However please note that there is only one direct train per day. Any indirect trains require a change at Bobadilla or Antequera Santa Ana. For this reason we recommend the direct coach.

 

If you're flying into Madrid (a must-visit city in the country!), there is also a direct train twice a day to Ronda from Madrid Atocha that takes around 4 hours.

 

Finally, you can use a website called BlaBlaCar where you can rideshare with other people, or rent a car from one of the many rental companies, such as Goldcar, Pepecar, Malagacar, Europcar, etc. Also, Entrelenguas are more than happy to book any client a private transfer from Malaga airport. It will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes and costs €120.

 

How do I get around in Ronda?

Once you arrive in Ronda, getting around is easy. Although we do have a local city bus service, walking is often the best way to get around our town. Most of our main attractions and places to stay are all walkable once you get here. Buses are infrequent and therefore we recommend a taxi if you are in a rush.To get to all parts of the town, a taxi will only cost around €6-€10. Our local licensed taxis are available in the main tourist and shopping areas, the number for which is +34 952 874 080.Taxi ranks are located in the coach station, train station (Av.Victoria) and the main taxi rank on Calle Juan José de Puya.

 

Is there a bureau de change in Ronda?

No, there are only banks which may charge high fees. We recommend exchanging your money before hand in your country.

 

I am interested in off the beaten track tourist activities, can you suggest anything?

Of course we can. Here at Entrelenguas, our ethos includes ‘Slow Tourism’ and so we can help advise and organise tourist activities to suit your tastes during your stay in Ronda; we plan regular cultural events and trips throughout Andalusia that are available to all our students. Is there a gym in Ronda?

There is an awesome gym called Dos de Cuatro that you can pay per day if you do not want to pay for an entire month. It is the gym that is in the centre; you can find them on Calle Carlos Gracia, 2, 29400, Ronda, Málaga. You can also contact them by calling +34 619 13 79 96.
