University Spanish program
Make the most out of your summer holidays and experience Spain through a true immersion programme.
Spanish ClassesThe programme includes 60 hours of group classes: 4 hours a day, 5 days a week! Lessons are taught by highly qualified native Spaniards and follow the ‘Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.’ All learning resources are included.
Activities and EventsAs you already know, having a good time is essential to everything we do! As such, we organize different events and activities which complement your classwork and provide you with opportunities to practise speaking Spanish in a more real life context. These are just some of the activities we include:
Tour of Ronda | Get to know our beautiful town… with a twist! Our local guide Alex won’t just take you to famous sights like the Arabic Baths, the New Bridge and the Joaquín Peinado museum, but also to all of Ronda’s hidden treasures, known only to a select few!
Wine tasting | As well as discovering local wine, familiarise yourself with the workings of an organic vineyard, taking in stunning views of the gorge and tasting delicious local delights!
Hiking | We love strolling through the valley, breathing in the fresh air and appreciating our unique landscape. Together let’s leave the town for dust, taking a walk on the wild side… all whilst chit-chatting in Spanish!
Canyoning | A pure adrenaline rush! Spend an unforgettable day getting up close and personal with nature in the Serranía de Ronda.
Spanish film night | Venture in to the world of Spanish cinema with our weekly film night – all in Spanish, of course!
BBQ + Language Exchange | An evening spent in the company of new friends, coming together to with locals to exchange your language and ours.
Spanish cooking classes | Learn to cook all of the most typical Spanish dishes!
Trips and excursionsAlthough our course is based in Ronda, we wouldn’t want you missing out on the chance to visit two of the most popular cities in Spain! Getting to know these towns will mean you leave Andalusia with a more comprehensive view of our region.
1 Granada: This fascinating university town breathes mystery in its very being! We’ll visit the Alhambra and meander through the narrow streets of Albaycín with a local guide. They’ll explain everything there is to know about the city which has become a centre of art and culture in Andalusia!
2 Bolonia (Cádiz): In summer we carry the (not so!) arduous burden of being obliged to enjoy the sun and the coast! We’ll take you to one of the best beaches the ‘Costa de la Luz’ has to offer, for a fun-filled day spent chilling and out and munching the magnificent food so typical to our region!
